OpenBSD Router Guide

February 7, 2011 – 12:22 am

I’ve been using OpenBSD as a NAT router for a few years now. Here’s a guide showing how I got it up and running, in case anyone is interested in doing the same.

This is a very useful guide. I am very interested as well in your followup about altq and OpenVPN, if you get the time. I believe there are or will be considerable changes to altq in OpenBSD 4.9 or 5.0 so perhaps you will wait till the dust settles on that?
    Thanks.

THanks! I’ll probably be upgrading my router when OpenBSD 5.0 comes out, and hopefully I’ll have the chance to add the altq section at that point.
